After getting my truck back together I noticed that I don't have running lights the only thing that I changed out that has to do with electrical was the headlight switch (twist to dim style) and that was to see if it would fix my dash light problems (it didn't) so any suggestions?

Oh I also covered the contacts in copper never seize, could that be a problem?

Gee gotta love my luck :icon_rofl:

Not sure about the anti-seize (unless it's specified for use on electrical contacts), you probably should have used dielectric grease, and sparingly. I'd get in there and clean it out, with a toothbrush and some degreaser spray, and see if it makes things better. Also double-check that you didn't pull any other connections loose while you were under there. And fuses...always check fuses.

Spott

Well it seems the dead spot is in between the battery and the fuse block. after checking everything and putting it back together it works along with my dash lights. :icon_confused:

So I have a bad spot in my harness at least I know now.
any tips on checking the harness and fuse block?
