I recently had alternator problems which toasted the battery. When the problem started getting serious (Christmas day), I noticed that the high beams would go on when the truck was turned off. Even though the lights where not on when the truck was running.
Replaced the battery, alternator and fan belt.... but the high beam problem still exists.
Turning the high beams on and off or turning the lights on and off turn them off. So I think the light and multi-function switch are working. It seems like a relay is sticking... or maybe the DRL module?
