heres my free m5od trans i got off a buddy. its 2wd and im gonna have to put it in like that until i find a 4wd tailshaft or 4wd m5od, not the ideal thing to do but since i have to buy a clutch and all that and this is my dd i gotta get this going. the a4ld dumped on me, and i definately aint putting another back in
will my speedo and gear assembly bolt into here? if not what can i put in there to seal the hole so fluid dont spit out. it looks like i can unbolt the vss looking thing and put my speedo gear in, but im not sure if the tailshaft has something to drive the gear
also what is this plastic broken piece in the shifter hole, and where can i get a new one?
when i put the shifter on and moved it around it didnt seem to have any play in it, but looks like some kinda stabilizing bushing
