air intakes

Does anyone have the ifab performance intake kit or the kurtz kustomz tru rev induction kit installed? I know they say it will gain HP, but will it really? It looks like Ifab has a better setup than kurtz because of the aluminum tubes and more stuff. What do you guys think?

your truck already has an intake.

stock. from ford.

leave it alone, it does fine.

I think the intake will do nothing more then add some engine noise to your truck. I had one on mine for a little while and took it back off recently. Other then being able to hear the engine sucking air I couldn't tell any difference. Not in power, not mileage, just noise. Buying an intake kit for your truck is kinda pricey and for nothing more than a piece of aluminum under the hood that you can polish out I don't think it's worth it. My $.02
