Rock guard for 2wd?

With all of the snow we got I'm thinking it might be a good idea to install some kind of skid plate from the bumper and back on my 2004 Ranger 2wd. Does anyone make one for my 2wd. Or would it be hard to fab one? I think one large piece of ice hidden in snow could make a big dent in the lower part of the radiator.
 
not a bad idea. you might find one online at some of the off-road retailers. otherwise, i'd find a good welder/fabricator and work with them to get what you want, usually way less than the store bought ones.
i'm up near Duluth, so i know where you are coming from! good luck with this.
