dont know if this is the right place , but three questions for you:

1st, are you allowed to make your own mounts that bolt to the frame and then bolt to your body, and buld them with a 2 or 3 Inch lift into it??

2nd, do you have to have the body rubber mounts or can you bolt the car directly to the frame(i was going to put a peace of 1/2 convar belt for some cussion)??

3rd, are you alowed to cut the body and move up rocker panels up 3-4 inches and rebuild it for more ground clearnce( would re weld it all, and there would be no holes when done)???

wondering if these are legal for the road
thanks for your help,

Kris

every state has its own laws. you can find them in a sticky at the top of the "4x4 and off road suspensions" forum. how stringent states are about enforcing such laws also varies greatly.
