hello my friend wants me to post this...
He has a 91 Ranger 4x2 5speed 2.3 liter BASE model, power nothing(fun to drive in parking lots with no power steering) anyways when he is sitting still, idling, with his foot on the brake the idle is all over the place, like it wants to die, and if you tap the throttle the idle drops real low then shoots back up. it sounds like it has a hot cam in it (it does'nt) His had thinks its the diaphram in the brake booster, he thinks it had a hole in it. also when the brakes are applied they hiss ike air is comming out. I cant put my finger on it but i think he has a hole in that hose that goes to the brake booster, its real cracked and old looking. any help will be awesome because i have to drive this thing too and its real annoying at red lights when you have a stupid civic next to you and he thinks you want to race.
