I can't believe it has been 6 years already. I was in college at the time and had plans to go to the Damageplan concert at the Alrosa that night but for some reason I didn't go. Went to the Alrosa once after that night, paid tribute to the fallen legend, signed the wall (which I have heard has been painted over since then).

Gone but not forgotten.

"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott 1966-2004.

RIP!

Another legend gone, but not forgotten!

this explains why i heard so much pantera on various radio stations on my way to work this morning :icon_confused:

i must be getting old. i have no idea who this "legend" was. i'm assuming he was a musician?
but it's still nice he's been remembered by those who knew him.
Correct. Gunned down on stage, along with 3 other people I believe...

yeah "legend" is a strong word to describe dimebag darryl

I must be alot older thn all u guys , never even heard of him. Guess im still stuck on classicrock an roll.

he was in a band called pantera who's peak of popularity was late-80s early 90's

they played guitar riffs really fast through a lot of distortion........nothing unique or groundbreaking

Ah... dimebag... what a great name...

Never heard of him either. With a name like that sounds like someone who hangs out on a street corner in a bad neighborhood in the middle of the night.
Dave

dimebag, 50 cent, cant they think of better names? lol
