hello, i need some help selecting headers for my project. it turns out there really isn't much room to work with after this V8 goes in the ranger and need recommendations on headers and where to get them. thanks guys

I used the headman 88408 headers. It is a tight fit on the driver side. Not sure how you have your engine in there but I had to notch out the passenger side of the frame a little bit.

2wd? 4wd? 302? 351? 350? longtubes? shorties?

Need a little more info to help you out better

If it's a 302, and a T5, and 2wd, got with '65-'70 Mustang tri-y headers. They're an easy option.

Only long tube i know of thats been proven to work on the larger bellhousing transmissions on a 4x4 are the headers by james duff. If you check around in my build thread there was some talk about them and a member posted pics of them on his truck :icon_thumby:

Here are a few photos of my James Duff headers on my 87 4x4 ranger. They fit great and no problems. This is the way to go if you’re looking for a set of long tube headers.

This is the tight side(passenger)

The other side has tons of room though.

Hedman 88400's. Do a search, there are pics out there.

The one above is a 89500, some don't like how it points the pass straight down and others don't mind it.
