i put a new cat in my exploder last month, it was a magnaflow direct fit and now every now and then i smell sulfur, like the cats bad already. anyone got any ideas what might cause this?
 
A small leak at one of the flanges perhaps.
 
the newer cats will smell like that when they are breaking in
 
ok, thank you. and i know for sure that ive got a small leak at one end of the cat, gotta tighten the clamps some, but i wasnt sure if a new cat was supposed to smell like that or not
 
New cats will smell like that. It should go away in a month or so.
