Cab Lights?


I'm diggin the black 2nd gen with the cab lights.

Cab Lights?


Makes me want to get rid of the Mazda and get back in a RANGERRRRRRR.

This was an idea I though about doing to my truck but was unsure of how it would look but now, Im going to do it.

Only thing I fear is it leaking over time. I dont have a headliner, my truck wasnt made with it so if I do do it, wires will show but I'll figure that out later.

Just put wire loom over all the wires:

And the easiest way to ensure no leaks, is to get the lights with separate ground and power wires, and then silicone the crap out of any holes that the wires and the mounting screws for the lights go through.
 
I would make sure there isn't 2 different layers of metal first. My 83 has a metal roof in the inside that isn't the outside roof, it has 2 layers of metal which would make it pretty hard to put cab lights on. Unless you would drill bigger holes in the inside and get an actual headliner to put over it to cover the holes up. But i was going to add cab lights to my '86. Untill i saw a 2nd gen with a lighted moon visor, now i just have to find one cheap on ebay.
