Hello new here was going to see if some one could tell me if a 4.0 would fit in my 73 ford courier with a 1.8 thank you

Yai I know it ll be work I was talking to a older guy he said he put a 302 in one back in the day and he said he just had to move the tranny mount engine mounts. And shorten the drive shaft if that's true I don't think it ll be that bad iunooo

Yep I have seen two Couriers with 302's in them so that little 60* V6 will go right in. :icon_thumby:

Back in the Daze? (late 70's) This is one I had, yes I did ditch that shell. Nice built 289, C-4 and a 8" rear. Surprised a lot of people with it. No headers but flipped the log manifolds side to side to run out in front of the radiator support. Didn't even need a remote oil filter but used a short one for an Opel GT.
