What's the most welding you guys have done in an 8 hour shift?

I broke my record at work for TIG welding aluminum last week.

72+ feet of aluminum TIG welding in 8 hours. Whew, I was tired after that. :icon_welder:

I was TIG welding 84"X4"X3/8" 6061 aluminum to 84" "U" shaped 1/4" 4043 aluminum for an aftercooler tank on a Bucyrus piece of machinery. There were 6 tanks total, I did 5.

Over 30' 308l stainless filler rod in a 10 hour shift (TIG).
70 lb roll of .040 flux in a 12 hour shift (MIG).

Lets see...

I can get about 13" of weld with one standard 3', 1/8" rod. So.... 65-70 rods? Give or take a couple? :D
