What's the most welding you guys have done in an 8 hour shift?
I broke my record at work for TIG welding aluminum last week.
72+ feet of aluminum TIG welding in 8 hours. Whew, I was tired after that.
I was TIG welding 84"X4"X3/8" 6061 aluminum to 84" "U" shaped 1/4" 4043 aluminum for an aftercooler tank on a Bucyrus piece of machinery. There were 6 tanks total, I did 5.
