When i unplugged my iac the rpm did not change.Does this mean it is bad.Thanks

Not necessarily. If any of the sensors starts reading wrong it will send the computer into a 'default' mode and the computer runs on a pre programmed set of variables and no longer listens to the sensors. Therefore unplugging any sensor may or may not cause a change. Pull your codes and look for any you may have.
