I'm new to the forum, but I thought I would document my build. This truck has been in my family since it was new and I'm turning it into my DD. Let me know what you think.

Current Mods:
RX8 Power, heated seats.
Finishing up the custom center console
Power locks
Dual exhaust
Bedlined interior

Future Plans:
Bedlining bed
Painting the truck gun metal gray
Power windows
Audio

Here is and update of the center console. I would probably be done already if I wasnt working 12 hr days and I had better tools. I made this with a jigsaw, dremel, and a cordless drill. I'm installing the cup holders right now. Once I'm done the whole thing will be sprayed with bedliner. Please let me know what you think.

Pretty nice, what did you do about the airbags in the seats, or did I read the badge wrong??

Coming along nice, mate. I like your ideas so far. What are your plans to clean up where the console wraps around the shifter?

You did read the badge right. I just have the wires cut so the airbags dont go off.

Thanks. I have a few ideas but not really sure yet. There is also another piece that I dont have in the picture. I have tomorrow off, so hopefully I can finish it.
 
nice work so far. first time i see RX8 seats on a Ranger lol
and the center console looks really nice

LOL, I was originally putting Mustang seats in the Ranger, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the RX8 seats. I have to admit that I love them now. Thanks. :icon_thumby:
 
Bed lined the interior today. Looks ok for now, but I will eventually be putting carpet back in it.

I've been contemplating that since I bought my truck. Let me know how bad the road noise gets after that mod.

Well, it will hard for me to say. My door and window seals are bad and I have to adjust my doors. But I will let you know what I think.
