I've done some research on our wonderful little pick-ups and found that at one point, ford was planning to introduce a ranger with the SHO 3.0 liter dohc v6. i am curious if anyone has decided to drop the SHO v6 in their truck yet. i've read about speculation as to dropping a duratec under the hood which, is quite similar to the SHO v6 but has anyone actually done it? i dont want to drop a v8 in it as i think that would require a bit more work and money than i really want to put into it and also fuel efficiency is another thing i think about. has anyone actually done this sort of thing to their truck?
