I am interested in purchasing this 1996 Ford Ranger Splash Ext. Cab. Its got 145,000km, 2WD, auto, 3.0L V6. I am a bit skeptical about Ford, as I've seen the Windstar, Taurus, and Aerostar turn to shit in my family. However, it seems like a good truck and I was trying to do some research on the Rangers. I cannot seem to find a very accurate gas mileage for the 3.0 though...
Do they get good gas mileage for a truck? Is the 3.0 a reliable engine? Are the '96s prone to any problems? Thanks all
