I have a decal on my hood that I'd like to remove. I know I should just heat it up, and it should peel right off? But will it remove the paint underneath the decal? Thanks everyone!

No, that paint underneath will be fine as long as it's not a rattle can job. I usually start without heat and see if I need it later. Just make sure you don't get the paint too hot. You also might have a issue with the paint underneath being brighter (less faded) than the exposed paint on the rest of the truck. Good Luck!

Thanks krugford! I ended up needing to use some heat but it peeled off really nicely. I had to use some GoofOff to get the adhesive off but it turned out pretty decent. Thanks!
