So im building a 2002 ranger and the problem im having is. The pass side door was smashed up when i got the body. So i went to the local jewel yard and got both doors off a 1995 supercab. Now when i go to fit the door on the pass side it does not fit worth a s**t. So am i doing somthing wrong or are the doors between a reg cab and supercab diffrent? I feel like a dumb a** asking this stupid question. But im NOT a body guy. :icon_confused: Thanks for the helpful info guys..

Here is the link to the build pics so far.

if the old one wash smashed, the hinges or mounts could be bent on the old one but not the new. check it.

everything seems to "look ok". The old door that was smashed was only about 1 inch below the window all the way across the door. But if opened and closed just fine. I dont know whats going on. Are supercab doors diff from reg cab doors?

No, super cab and reg cab doors are the same. Your cab is tweaked somewhere, and the old door was along with it.

My one buddy did this to his car last spring. He hit another car at about 10 MPH, opened the passenger side door, and it wouldn't latch up again. I went over, tried to adjust it, and then saw the dime-sized ding in the roof when the rest of the body (except the front clip) was straight and said "Yup, you bent the whole car".

The difference there is that he didn't bend the door. Your door and your cab are bent.
