New Seats

I have a 1999 Extended Cab Ranger and I want to replace the seats. Anyone had any experience with doing this, and have any recommendation where to get nice seats that fit this truck?

There are a lot of options for seats that fit. Explorer and Mustang seats are the first ones that come to mind. Use your old seat tracks and bolt them to the new seats and you're done. Look around the site some, theres a lot of good info on this.

Yeah, go comb the junk yards. There are a lot of Fords that came with seats nicer than the Ranger, but that have the holes to be bolted onto the Ranger's seat tracks.

Every so often you find something really nice. Tempo GT seats are pretty highly sought after for Rangers because they have the adjustable halo headrests.

I was wondering how difficult it is to take out the old seats and replace them with new? Is this just a few bolts or what??

yup, for me its 4 bolts a seat. takes about 5 minutes and its out.
