Hi
I just Baught a 2009 Ranger and wanted to make it look a little more mean. I wanted to put a levelling kit in with bigger tires I don't really want to deal with a body lift. I was looking at the leveling kits and biggest one I can get is 3" and I'd like to have 4" or 5" so what I was wondering is if I could install the 3" torsian shackle and then install a 1" strut extention, then for the back a 3" shackle extention for rear leafs and maybe another leaf will I have to make any more adjusments anywhere else on the truck other than this work or am I looking at trouble if I go that route or should I just stick with a 3" leveling kit.

No, you can't stack lifts on the front of an IFS Ranger. At 3" of lift, the arms are pretty much maxed out and almost hitting the frame, the cv's will be beyond their limits and wear out in a few thousand miles, and the ride will be shit because you just lost all your droop. Just go with a 3" kit and get aftermarket shafts for the front. You can clear 33s like that.

Holy run on sentence batman...

ANYWAY...The torsion keys you're talking about are a complete waste of money. What you want is to do the pre-key mod. Get a set of torsion keys from an 07 or older Ranger, they will "lift" the front end and give you the ability to add larger tires like you want. You'll also want to get a set of older blocks for the rear as Ford downsized those as well.
