i want to get rid of all of the wiring! iam just gonna rewire everything that i HAVE to have, its a off road truck so i want it as simple as possible! thanks rough

I used a Pinto dist with a MSD 6al. works great

i have a 79 2.3 out of a pinto, that should have what i need then? i think its duraspark so can i just slide it in or what? thanks rough

You'll need the distributor out of a 2.8L Pinto. Aside from the distributor everything else should work.

Duraspark will run noticeably better, and not need to have quality points purchased and installed twice a year to run well.
A duraspark setup will cost as much as a points dizzy and 5 sets of quality points. Do the math.
