Front Clip Swap?: 83-87 to 88-92

Has anyone attempted a front clip swap from a 83-87 ranger to a 88-92? im wondering about rad support/ fender/ hood /lights/ grill and bumper mounting. what sorta issues would a guy have to deal with?
 
You basically have to take all of that stuff.
 
Yup, I believe the front core support is different. You will also half to splice in the connectors for the headlights.

I prefer the 2nd gen front end.

BTW, they switched over in 89,not 88.
