Alright guys i want to do a 302 swap in my 93 4x4 5 speed ranger. can i get a list of EVERYTHING that im gonna need. and also would i need a 2" BL?

Engine ( complete with manifolds ) , trans, motor mounts, fans and radiator all from a v8 explorer. Oil filter relocation kit, and a 1.5" - 2" body lift.

do i need a different transfer case and a shorter/longer front and rear driveshafts?

Cant help ya with the 4x4 part but I am positive the shafts will need tweaked.

It depends on what transmission you go with on where the drivesahfts are going to be. Odds are you'll have to shorten the rear driveshaft and lengthen the front but you will not know until you mock everything up. I used a NV3550 5sp trany and I'm currently using my stock transfer case. I don't use my truck as a 4x4 machine only. Light (very light) 4x4 use with mine. Transfer case is still working.
