what looks like a homemade leaf pack with 7 leaves,

FREEBEES that you've been given

custom heavy duty front and rear bumper,

FREEBEES that you've been given

FREEBEES that you've been given

custom aluminum gas tank. The body isn't on the frame and the motor is sitting loose. I guess I'm lucky. I let my ex-neighbor store stuff in my rented Quonset for 6-7 months till he found a new place. His stuff took up a space 10'x20'. He asked me how much I'd charge and I said don't worry about it. This was over last winter and he took his stuff away in the spring. He called me up a couple of weeks ago and said his buddy had a Bronco that he was giving away, so I checked it out, and it ended up being a Bronco II. I didn't want to say anything till I actually have it, so now I can jump up and down and scream and yell....YAAHHHOOOOO!!!!
So what have you got for free and why do you think you got it? Karma or ?

Richard

1) YOU SUCK! I wish I could get more freebees...
2) Who put the darn DOT stripping on the rear bumper, and would it really have been that hard to take a square and put the things on level?

Anywho... you are lucky lol. Bumper looks nice and since it came with lights that's even better!

I'm totally diggin that front bumper. That's exactly what I want.
Somebody gave me a 94 ext cab w a 4.0. Drove it for a year and a half. The engine is in my B2 now.

I presume the two are going to get nice and cozy together.

Well, I've gotten a few good freebies. Couple cars (my Ranger included). Had keys handed to me and was told "If you can make it run and pass inspection, it's yours".

Also, 1badexplorer gave me a pretty good deal last spring when he basically gave me a receiver. Sold me some doors and a hitch for just the price we'd agreed on for the doors.

I got my old tough truck off craiglist for free. It needed a battery and fuel filter. Didn't run worth crap but I cut it up to fit 33's and beat the **** out of it. Took it through a 4' deep snow bank, grenaded both hubs, passenger side shaft and cracked both heads on that run. Definitely is in my top 10 favorite things I have done to a vehicle.

I blew through a snow bank as tall as the truck last winter and did none of that. In fact I came out the other side none the worse for wear, if not lacking the forward momentum to continue without backing up a bit first.

It wasn't packed very tight and it was only about 2' thick, and I didn't hit it very fast. I did get a dirty look from the manager at the Mr. Sticky's on the other side of it though, because I blew a bunch of snow back into his lot (that hadn't even been plowed yet).

I did earn it somewhat. I did every wrench turn on it since it was bought new in 2002. Gramps gave it to me since I took care of it for him.

Let's see, I've been getting toms of various little things from work over the last little bit. More recently it was a stick on hood scoop and a basically new 8" subwoofer.

I couldn't even get the clap for free if I was looking for it, lucky you.

Frank

btw if it's worth over 300 bucks......... then you didn't get a great deal, it wasn't a steal........ somebody just flat out gave you a gift and you suck, get a better job and stop taking advantage of the people that did.

Man, if I found that nice of BII body in that great of shape I would either find a nice early Bronco running chassis or a F150 running chassis and put that nice rust free body on one of the chassis!!!

Now, that would make a great ride, Bro!!! Now, I have an idea since I know where some running chassis are in really great shape with a decent V8 needing a new home....hmmmmmm..wonder if the wife will let me have a new next summer project???
