hey guys. I dont have a ranger but I'm looking to get one here in the next 2 weeks. I just have a quick question. I really want a 98-2000 4x4 extended cab 5 spd. but I've only found a couple. I've found alot of 97 and before but I dont like the front end on them. Is there any difference other than the front end?? Is there any kind of front end conversion kit that isnt difficult to do? Please let me know soon cause I'm in the market. By the way I only have $3,000 to spend

the 93-97s are totally different from the 98-00. Different frame, suspension, the standard cab got stretched 3 inches, 4-door option added to the extended cab, etc. Honestly I don't think you're gonna get much for 3 grand.

You can convert the front end, you have to change the core support, which is welded in, and get new fenders, hood, header panel, headlights, grille, and you'll have to modify bumper brackets to put a 98+ bumper on.

I'm building a 99 right now to sell but it won't be ready for a while. I can see ohio from my front yard but I live in WV.
