Just wondering what the chances are of my stock driveshaft working with the swap in title, or a rough guess how much longer or shorter it would need to be, and if the input shaft would even fit the auto....Thank you!!

Oh, its with swapped side to side convertable mounts....

It's one of those things that you'll have to find out as you go.

But, for what it's worth, when I did mine, I left the driveshaft in place. When I dropped the motor/trans in, I slid the driveshaft into the trans, and used it to locate the motor. Saved a few bucks that way. (mine was '97 Supercab 4.0 2wd manual, now 5.0/T5 manual. And using a one-piece shaft from an '08 2wd/coil spring/5 speed. But it did work fine with my original 2 piece shaft.)

If yours won't work, remember that auto/manual Ranger shafts can be different lengths, so you may still find a stock solution. But definately give it a shot.
