Bundle up and get the dog to snuggle a lot. Don't use the stove to heat up the place or you may DIE!!!!! And if you do ony do when you are home!!! Stay safe and use your head. Every year way too many people die leaving their stoves one (gas or electric). Space heaters are really great..but then again don't leave them unatended or around animals....another safy hazard.

Check your coolant and go from there. Low coolant will keep the heater from working.

Are we talking truck or home? Truck replace your heater core. 20 bucks and 30 min. Home ya better figure something out quick.

lol it is not a 30 min process in a 97. you have to pull the dash to replace it. shop hours call for 7 hours. but if you know your ranger it is obviously faster. like said before. get engine to temp and check your heater core hoses.
