I have a paper typed up for my English class, and i have to create a header. I did that, but they are on every page (all 3) and she will take off for that. Any help to just enable it on the first page?

Maybe try putting it in the body of the essay, not necessarily in the header box. Or in preferences, you can possibly make it first page only. Not too familiar with '07.

You might try printing first page only. Then remove header from word doc and print remaining pages.
On the first page of the document, double click the header or footer area.
Then under Header & Footer Tools, on the Design tab, in the Options group, select the Different First Page check box.
