im about to swap a carbed 302 into my 91 ranger. i have the motor but im not sure which trans to get? what is every one else running? it just has to be automatic. thanks

If the truck is to be a daily driver or street/strip i would use an AOD. C4 for a track only. Just my .02

c4 would be the easiest, or c5 with c4 bellhousing, valve body, and t/c. depends on if u are 4wd or not. u could use an aode/4r70w with a standalone module for the tranny(tci makes one, as does bauhman ((sp?)) they run about 700 bux
