headers for my swap?


i dont think it will clear the passenger side frame very well
 
I have seen several kits for the Ranger swap which include headers in the package, Trans Dapt and Adance Adapters are two that come to mind, here is a link to the Trans Dapt kit sold at Jegs.

I personally wouldn't buy the kit as I have fabed my own Trans Dapt Clone Motor mount adapter plates, and will buy my headers separately, will save me a few hundred in the end. Check out my thread for motor mount adapters here:

None of those linked headers will work good with the "P" heads, can be made to work with the right plug boots. The cast iron Explorer headers will work but not performance orientated.

Right I forgot he stated the GT40P head, oops.
 
Start reading some Mustang forums.
You'll find less and less problems with P heads. I'm not saying I know for sure what will work with those heads in a Ranger, but I've seen enough people use them (the P heads) with no header issues.
 
Torque monster makes swap headers for 'P' heads in beam rangers.
