Hubs, transfer case with 302 conv.

Hi all,

Did a search, but perhaps didn't word it correctly. I need
to know if the stock '85 transfer case and hubs will hold up
with a 302. Certainly don't want to grenade it !!!

I've got an 87 Ranger that I'm using the stock transfer case & hubs and so far no problems. But...I do not use it for heavy off road use. I guess the big question is what are you going to do with your Bronco? Off road (trail driving) machine every weekend or is the 4 wheel only going to be used when needed during reqular driving, camping, muddy roads, etc.?
 
Thanks Joey, good point. I won't be doing any serious off roading, just
when needed, ( i.e., it's Iowa = snow!!!).
Was just a little leary until I heard from someone.
I appreciate your reply. The V-8 is a real kick !!!

Being from Nebraska I total understand the snow thing. You should be fine with your application, but remember you do have V8 when you put your foot into it:icon_thumby: Things can break:rolleyes: Enjoy your project.
