Distributor Help

I have a 94 302 ho roller motor carb'ed...just had everything rebuilt, now its down to ignition. I ordered a msd 6al with a blaster 2 coil....but the distributor?? I have a distributor my friend gave me and it has msd internals. But my stock cap will not fit over it, the rotor just hits the top of the cap. Should i just get a msd cap or buy a whole new distributor. His mustang is a 85lx and had a non roller motor 302.

If its a msd dizzy you will need there cap. Do you know the part # of the dizzy. Also a dizzy for a nonroller motor had a cast iron gear and a roller motor has a steel gear so you will want to change it.

I tried taking some pictures of it so you could see but my camera sucks, on the little black box inside it says ignitor by petronix carb e.0. D-57 2, and on the top of it says 32AA-V4. Thats about all i can identify it from im just not very familiar with them. Hope u can see the pics
