I have an '87 Ranger that needs a front clip... its two tone, silver on the bottom with blue on top with a wide tape stripe... any suggestions on where to find the tape stripe? It goes over the wheel wells, and is very wide... I dont think a generic one would work. Could this still be ordered from the Ford dealer? Thanks so much for your help guys...

That would be a dealer only thing, if they still carry it, it's going to be expensive, they come in sides, so you have to buy the while right side, and the whole left side.

Your best bet I think would be to get a hair dryer and take off ALL of the pin striping (if an whole stripe is still there, then it doesn't need to be removed) and then buff the car and put on a pin striping of your choise in all the places the old one was. Or, you could just leave it off, that's what I did, but I guess haveing a two tone wouldn't allow you to do that.
Not only would it be expensive if you can even find it, but the striping will not match. I bet it will look like crap with part new and part old striping.
Hope that helps a little bit...

Yeah, I'm concerned about it matching... so now I'm wondering if I'm not better off giving up on the factory two tone job and changing it a little to suit more common tape stripes.
