rangers computer?

I have come to the conclusion that i need a new computer for my ranger. Napa sells re-manufactured computers but they sell about 4 or 5 different kinds with different I.D numbers on them. Ive tried looking for the I.D number and have found a couple numbers but none really match up to what im looking for.

Does it matter the kind of computer i get? If its made for the 2.3 with manual transmission can I use any kind of computer for it?
 
I'm sure it matters somewhere along the line to aviod trouble get the right one. Or just send it to ecmtogo.com and they will test it and can fix it if it needs it. Overnight fedex it both ways. I've never sent one in there so I don't know about the cost.

The different numbers are calibrations. Really as long as you get one for the same year, model, engine/trans, and emissions level (cali or fed) you should be ok.
