Will the frame from a 2010 Ranger fit a 2000?:icon_confused:

it will fit. as long its the same wheel base, short bed or long bed

Ok.....I just need the back of the frame. Spare tire area and where bumper bolts on.
The rear section from a 2010 frame would work no matter if its afrom a 2 or 4 wheel drive? Both mine and donor truck are short beds.

it would work, but try to compare both first to be sure. i think both are boxed frames so it will work.

check the street truck of the month votings, theres a guy named frankenstein, he just did the job ur about to do, he has pics on his build thread

The place I can get the frame from is a body shop. They feel it will work since I'm using only the back part.
If I was going to use the front it wouldn't work because the used frame is from a 4X4 ranger and its different in the front.

Well hell for 100 bucks I better jump on this and buy it before it's gone.

ohh yes. good deal.

check if they have the axle, and if it has 4.10 gears, that would be good for your truck in case its a 4banger lol

Its a 3.0 v6 with 138,000 miles. Runs pretty good. My son drives it. It's either that or the 2 shoe express....lol
5 speed trans....he calls it Rita the Ranger.....lol

good. even that v6 could get a good performance with those 4.10 gears

It's pretty snappy for the miles. We've put a new clutch in it and just put new shackles and mounts for rear leaf springs. Thats when we found the back part of the frame is getting bad. And here in Penn. state inspection won't let it pass so........

You don't buy it, I will lol! Nah, actually me and my brother in law spent some time welding and I'm all good now :icon_welder:

But I would have bought a 2010 rear if I had found one for $100.

Every junk yard I called says they don't know if its the same. But their listings only show entire frames.
Guess measuring would be the best bet to make sure it fits right.
