Just imported a 2010 Ranger from US to Canada. What is needed to have DRLs? Do I need a module, or can the dealer flash my PCM?

I'd call the dealer to check first though before I let Crappy tire anywhere near my truck. I don't know for sure but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the dealer could just flash your PCM to activate the DRL's, I would think they should be able to...

Just call any dealer and talk to someone in the service department, they should be able to tell in a few seconds what needs to be done....

Crappy tire has to touch his vehicle. they are the only ones authorize to do out of country vehicle inspections.

If crappy tire is the only authorized inspection facility, then there's alot of vehicles that are in a lot of trouble. I wouldn't trust them to look at my truck from across the parking lot.

Go to the dealer, there is a DRL module that will plug into the wiring harness. I could be wrong, but I believe it is just behind the rad support on the drivers side. When you're at the dealer (and go to the parts dept, not the service side) ask them to print off a diagram of the location of the DRL module.
