A weird one, looking for a badge

Hey crew,

My buddy at work is trying to do the oval colour change on the front of his 1988 Crown Vic and is trying to find another badge, from my quick measurement it appears to be 4-5/16 across. I looked into ordering him in one but it has been discontinued. Do you know of any newer vehicles that use that same size emblem or alternatively a place to get Ford Ovals.

Easy. The local junkyard.
 
Location location location. He already knows of all the crown vics in the yards. There is 2.
 
i'll look at the yard and see if theres anything....going down there tomorrow

i don't xsuppose you could post a pic of the original,could you?if i recall correctly,that one is a little flatter than they usually are.i'll be taking a tape measure with me,but as they say,a picture is worth a thousand words.

Also, I think I have a 92 badge around here somewhere. Think that would work?
 
sorry,man.....they were all way smaller than that.is this on the trunk or the grille?
 
The one I have is about 3 1/2".
