I've seen that one before some years ago.

There are much simpler ways to do a swingset/crossover setup. On a non-prerunner/rockcrawler truck though, I actually prefer the K-link simply because you can use sturdier, dead-straight tierods on it.

the design is a little "busy" for my taste but i bet it drives great.

Is there no way of making the left tie rod straight ?? How about moving the rt side pivot forward a bit ??

No, you can't really move the pivot forward much without destroying the ackerman angle on the system.

Having straight rods is no problem on 2WD trucks, but the differential housing presents clearance issues on a 4WD truck. I will also say that amount of a bend would not have been needed if the design was thought out a little better (the passengerside tierod doesn't even look to be the correct length either).

I don't think moving the pivot forward a little bit would impose that much of a change in the steering angles. I also think that if it was an issue, it could be taken care of through calculating the proper geometry.

I do like the set-up but I think he needs to take a look at his camber angles too...
