Look for one from a gasoline carby setup or even modify one from an EFI setup. Ours was converted to diesel from a 2.9 EFI and the sending unit works fine after removing the in tank pump. The diesels are so rare, I suspect it will be nearly impossible to find the exact diesel application part. Even finding the sending unit for a 1987 F series diesel, which was MUCH more popular can be a challenge let alone something for a diesel ranger.
