So I get in the truck to go yesterday and my airbag light starts blinking, then stays on solid. Does this everytime I crank the truck. Finally I realize it is flashing a code, so I count up the flashes and get a 47. Since I have the complete set of shop manuals for the truck, I did a little reading last night and discovered a code 47 is resistance high or low on the passenger side seatbelt pretensioner. This morning I squirted some contact cleaner into the seatbelt latch on the passenger side and she is fixed. Sweeeeet. One repair paid for those manuals for sure- I got 'em for $80 off ebay. I HATE a warning light on the dash...:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

kool, always nice to hear a solution to a problem instead of hearing about more problems once in a while.

You could have done what one customer has done with their warning light.
