Are we missing any forums that you would like to see returned?

Is there anything else missing?

jim the only thing i can think of is we could use a forum for locations of trails and there avail. because with this many people it could offer alot of us closer places to home to wheel that we havent even heard about (namely private property and such).

Look good, I like the feel. Maybe a land use forum to go with the location of trail forum

Guys, that's basically the intent of the regional forums....

one thing i thought that was kinda cool before was how it showed you who was reading/posting in a specific thread.. an how many of us were on .. other than that the fresh start isnt all that bad..

It would be nice to have the chat working again, there used to be some very interesting Wednesday nights, getting to know people and exchanging ideas on many assorted topics,

I think the new forums layout is very good. I have one suggestion, though.
There's no clear place for stock suspension posts; there's "Lowered Trucks", "Offroad Suspensions (Modified Stock)" and "Extreme Suspensions". How about making "Steering" to be "Steering & Stock Suspension"?

i noticed theres no "non-RBV tech" forum. that got some good use on the old site...

are all the old posts gone forever?

Probably, yes. Depends if Jim can get the old database back from the *cough* former hosting company. I wouldn't hold my breath.

The forums look great, awesome job so far, but I have one suggestion. Could we have subtitles for the topics like the old forum had? I thought it was nice because then there wouldn't just be the title, you could put in a little info about the thread.

+1 for the non-RBV tech forum.

I think we need an RBV Aerostar Forum, and being that I'll probably be the only one posting in it we should call it the Rulebreaker Forum.:woot: Or we could open it up a little and call it the Ranger Metamorphosis Forum then the Mutant Pony and I will both be posting in it, this would double the activity in the Forum and you could call us the black sheep in the RBV family. Looks super, can't believe how quickly it came up- everytime I log in there is more stuff...

We didn't have it before but might use a spel chek.

Also, are the member numbers gone for good too?

Great job, Jim. I know you have spent countless hours and expense on this and we all appreciate it.

Any of you who aren't paid members and think you might want to be, jump on and help support Jim and TRS!

Non-RBV tech needs to come back.

I didn't see a forum for new members to introduce themselves. Oh, BTW, I'm new!

I think the "Non-RBV Tech" should come back, kind of a usefull section I thought, never used it, but if I ever did, it is there.

And the other thing, I would like to see a chat. You get to know the other people on the boards alot better, and there are some good discussions in chats. I know chats can have major problems if the wrong people get in them though, so I understand why you may not bring it back.

Other than that, forums look awsome I think, and thanks for putting as much time as you have into making a good forum for the rest of us.

Has a computers section been mentioned? I really think that should have its own spot.

I agree with the "Hey Ford" and maybe a "Towing/Trailer" section, both I think would be good.

I was thinking that same thing. How many more Rentons could there be.

Yup, Washington. Suppose I should update my profile to show that.

I don't think the old Hey Ford got much traffic. They're in enough deep doo-doo as it is.
A Towing Forum would have the effect of being able to find towing stuff in one place instead of all over in GD. I think we had a few too many forums on the old board. Computer stuff could go in a Non-RBV TEch Forum.
OTOH, people don't even ask wheel and tire questions in the Wheel And Tire Forum. :wrongforum: :buttkick:
