I am trying to install an aftermarket speedo (mechanical) into my Ranger. Will anything need recalibrated? This speedo goes to 160, and the one in my 94' Range only goes to 85.

Isn't the ranger speedo electronic and uses a speed sensor mounter in the tranny? On a good not, when Ford put in the speed sensor the used the same hole where the cable used to run out of, but that is subject to change.
my '95 goes to 110-120 I think, but I don't know if they will interchange.

I have a '94 and I believe that it's mechanical.

I'm not sure about the calibration... Ask the company from where you got the new speedo from and find out for sure.
