Turkey Bay trip Aug 14 & 15th, 2010

We just got done with a wheeling trip saturday, and we are planning another trip August 14 and 15 (saturday and sunday). It is 3 weeks away and are planning it now. Some members wanted to attend, but needed more notice. We usually run every other weekend when we plan, but pushed this one out an extra week for more members' advance notice. Myself and railman are going, as well as a couple others. I will start a list in this first post and update as I receive PM's or posts to join. We welcome all, not just TRS members or RBV's, so contact your wheelin buddies and let em know we are planning a wheeling trip. We will be camping there arriving saturday morning around 8am, and departing sometime sunday. You need not make both days, one or the other will be fine. We stay both days at times to give more members chances to make either or both days. Hope you can attend:icon_thumby:

Glad to see you will be able to make this trip:icon_thumby: I got a small line on another trail rig that I might be driving this trip, but it will be turned into an awesome daily driver/Tow Rig for SVT...I'm keeping quiet on this one, and only one other person knows about it, and HE BETTER KEEP QUIET!!! lol

Some members needed more than a week or a couple days notice so they could get off work. The notice is not for us, its for members to give to there bosses that they will be playing hookie!!

I just cut the hood up on the Bronc, we now have a fully functional hoodscoop........ and I'm out of grinding wheels. :icon_rofl: but it looks almost shadetree proffessional.

84 it's a 2.8 dude....... you run them till they die completely, then you hook up the clutch sensor leave it in gear and just crank the starter and let it wheel ya around the trails. Just bring an extra battery.... or we can swap out whenever yours gets low.

Well somebody had to go with the crazy coon ass to Rittman Ohio to get his V8 swap donor and no body else was stepping up on the plate with any enthusiasm!
Had a blast, burnt a ton of gas, had a lot of laughs and both of us got delirious from a lack of sleep the first night and saturday! Oh well, it's not the destination, it's the trip getting there and back that lasts a lifetime!!

Come Hell or high water there's three of us going to Turkey Bay with the TRS Banner! And speculatin on the weather forecast it's going to be a lot closer to the first option with the temperatures!
We're going eat like kings, wheel like mad men, and probably swim like fish!
