Hey guys, so my 96 b2300 5 spd was having problems off the line. It has pretty much stock everything. I changed the catalytic converter and the o2 sensors, which mad a big difference but for some reason when I hit 2500 rpms the truck jolts like its not getting enough gas. I'm not sure whats causing this. any ideas?

check to see if your fuel filter is dirty, pull it and blow into it and that should blow all the junk out of it, and then try it again, if it continues, it could be a number of things. thats all I am 100% sure about making stuff like that happen.

What happens above 2500 rpm? I mean if you wait on a shift and rev it up to 3000 rmp does it smooth out? or does it just continue to do this?

One thing that popped into my head was, did you reset the computer? Simpy remove the neg battery cable for a while (10-15minutes should do it). This will force the ecm to re-learn it drivabitly settings. Sometimes needed after changing an O2 sensor.
