windshield scratched

Hi,All first I wasnt sure where to ask my question.Could have been interior as well.Okay to the question my truck has fairly deep sratches on the windshield and side window.From previous mudding adventures I thought I seen somewhere that this is polish or something along them lines to remove the scratches? I thought with all the mudders here you guys would know? Thanks

Glass coverage on your insurance. Costs almost nothing more and doesn't affect your rates when you use it. Just replace them.

Minor scratches you can use toothpaste or a heavy duty rubbing compound. It will take quite a bit of elbow grease, but they should come out most of the way. If they're fairly deep, it's best to just replace the glass or live with it.

If you use rubbing compound, make sure you do the entire windshield, otherwise, you'll have a sort of faded spot where you used it where the scratches actually are
