ive been searchign around here and reaidng alot of articles but still not finding exactly whatd i liek to know. so ive got a few questions.

1. is one body style ranger easier to do a v8 swap in than another?

2. what kind of gas mileage can i be expecting with a 2wd 5.0 (ford) 5 speed carbed swap?

3. would a chevy motor and tranny be harder to put into a ranger than a 302? i havent seen any detailed write ups?

4. what would the easiest and somplest swap be? this will be my first swap. i have a 1995 ranger thats 4wd and has the 4.0 motor in it that we will probably be swapping over to dads 3. so ill have a rolling chassis.

The 98-up are the easiest if you use a 98-up Exploder 5.0 as a donor. If you're worried about gas mileage, then just stop now. Nobody can tell you what kind of mileage, you'll get with your foot on the go pedal.

lol let me rephrase then:

what would be the easiest/cheapest build ofr a beginner. i understand these arent cheap but id liek to cut costs where i can.

I can! :yahoo:

15 to 24 mpg.......:headbang:........

divide by 2 if you use a 4-barrel.......:icon_surprised:...

that would be fine with me. my f150 is getting about 14 now. any suggestions on easiest or simplest build for a beginner though?
