lookin for bigger tube headers,or some thing that will cover the 1.4x1.36 exh port. the hookers ports are smaller but are better then the chinese tri-ys I have now. dougs 669Y look like they might fit with a little work.thoughts,ideas?
 
Do what I did and weld all the tubes on the outside of the flange, then port the insides to blend the flow into the header port.
 
what header did you use that would be alot of weldind on the 1 1/2 tri y
 
Shelby type tri-Y's. Bought em used off ebay. Ran em with my 331 (canfield heads) they never limited the topend performance.
 
The Dougs Tri-Y's I've seen are 1 5/8" primary, but still 2.5" collector.
I'm curious if they fit, and what difference there would be.

Silly as it is, I'm starting to think about larger headers for a change of sound. I know, I know...
Maybe not.
 
dougs has 2 sets of tri-ys automatic and manual the manual set looks like it might work
