New Muffler

Finally got around to puttin a new muffler on my 4l v6 ranger. Flowmaster 40 series, single in dual out. What do you guys think?

Looks good.

I have all 2.5" piping in mine, with the cats removed, and a Flowmaster SUPER 40, single in/single out, and its sounds GNARLY.

Give it a couple of good weeks of driving hwy is best & it will get better in the sound.

I believe it was the original 40. What will make it get better in sound after driving it for a while? It does seem to be getting louder but what causes that?
