My credo
Confused and Intolerant
I have seen on a few cars every now and then, no front axle, but just a steering system, this is on RWD/2WD vehicles mainly I have seen them on. And only on cars so far.

Its kinda like a gokart, just pivoting points with tie-rods

RWD cars like Mustangs, Chargers, 2WD pickups, etc. would not have a front axle. Is that the cars you are referring to?

its called A-arm suspension setup
independent suspension for each tire.

Virtually every modern car, van, and about 95% of newer trucks and SUVs have a similar setup.

this ones and full size cargo trucks are the only ones that still have an axle on the front susp.
No front axle?

haha, k, because I always wondered this sometimes, never really payed attention, it got me when I noticed every one of my model trucks and cars do not have from axles unless they are 4x4 modifieds, haha

Even my '36' La Salle had independant front end. Gee, my old La Salle ran great (remember that opening song)?
